Perhaps our favorite offering is our specialty Craft & DIY Library. It’s a collection of thousands of books, patterns, zines, and how-tos covering everything we do (and so much more). Topics range from color theory and textile techniques to game design and character drawing. We’ve got color guides, stitch dictionaries, manga tutorials, vintage craft books, and modern DIY manuals to inspire your next project.

We’ve got a Pacman machine, a guitar, a record player, board games, card games, and many more entertainments waiting for you to try. It’s like Pee-Wee’s Playhouse but where you craft things instead of just watch. Today’s secret word is “make.”
why craftlab exists
Craftlab is a place where you can just make things. As a bespoke space born in Westborough, MA, we’re proudly local, wildly independent, and intentionally flexible. In a small town where most places shut down early, we offer teens and adults a place open in the evenings, to create, connect, and just be.
We’re a community-powered hangout between home and school/work, where tools are shared, supplies are stocked, and inspiration is passed from person to person. And the only cookie-cutter projects we offer use actual cookie cutters in unusual ways.
Craftlab is where collective knowledge meets community joy. It’s where we pool resources, time, and creativity so anyone can try something new without a huge investment. It’s a soft space for hard days, and a colorful, welcoming place to belong.
