About the Creative Studio
Craftlab is a late-night creative studio for adults & teens (14+) in Central Massachusetts.
Drop in and try out materials for over 30 arts & crafts. Join a workshop or explore on your own.
All supplies are included and all levels are welcome, from beginners to lifelong makers.
We are located at 3 Summer Street, Downtown Westborough, just off the rotary toward Milk St.
We’re currently designed for teens (14+) and adults. We’ve got sharp tools, hot equipment, and small parts. We play adult music and we sometimes use colorful language. Thank you for helping us keep this space safe and focused!

October at Craftlab might be our best month of programs ever! Painting, sculpting, sewing, beading, and DRAG!! October 30 we’re hosting live figure drawing and a performance with Drag King Darren Tashine as The Headless Horseman!

Darren is a Drag King from Providence, RI, known for his elaborate costuming and whimsical gender-fluid performances. He is delighted to be joining Craftlab as your model for the evening to bring one of his favorite horror characters to this Halloween life drawing session: the Headless Horseman!

Private Workshop
$20/person, 5-20 people
One guided workshop on one medium or form (1.5-2 hours) with a unique finished project. This does not include additional set up time, food accommodations, or open studio.
Great for: Girl Scout Troops (Senior Textile Artist Badge, Senior Collage Artist Badge), team-building events, offsites, upskilling groups, women’s groups, book clubs, affinity groups, and employee resource groups.

why craftlab exists
Craftlab is a place where you can just make things. As a bespoke space born in Westborough, MA, we’re proudly local, wildly independent, and intentionally flexible. In a small town where most places shut down early, we offer teens and adults a place open in the evenings, to create, connect, and just be.
We’re a community-powered hangout between home and school or work, where tools are shared, supplies are stocked, and inspiration is passed from person to person. And the only cookie-cutter projects we offer use actual cookie cutters in unusual ways.
Craftlab is where we pool resources, time, and creativity so anyone can try something new without a huge investment. It’s a soft space for hard days, and a colorful, welcoming place to belong.
